HOW MANY LOAVES HAVE YE?

In the middle of hopelessness and a state of dilemma, Jesus asked a very intriguing question, "How many loaves have ye?"          It is very unlikely to fathom with the hope that any solution could be offered when found in the situation as recorded in Mark 8:1-10. There was hunger, weakness, despair, hopelessness, scarcity and death in view.  The disciples' response was indeed nothing different from mine or yours except we are schooled and able to comprehend what Jesus did to arrest the situation. To have a smooth sail and end well as a Christian on earth, it is important to understand the know-how and steps required to tackle many issues that bedevil us.  As far as the present world is concerned, problems abound. Ranging from health, finance, marriage, family, business, spiritual, and otherwise, every man is encumbered daily with pockets of troubles.  However, these problems are not designed to mar us, rather, they help in shaping our lives for the greater gl

In Spirit And In Truth

God is not seen with our optical eyes, He is a spirit and He must be referenced as such.
John 4:24 says, "God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth".

Even when He is invisible, Isaiah 66:1 says "The heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool". This means both the heaven and the earth are under His control.

He is highly revered in heaven. So also on earth, He is generally believed to be the highest power in existence.
In fear and awe of Him, many in His name have made with their own hands, images on different altars of worship but all these in ignorance.

It is so unfortunate; many claim to worship God today but without a true knowledge of Him.
As the creator of heaven and earth, the Giver of life, the great Provider and the Help of the helpless; God must be worshiped, but doing it the right way can not be overemphasized.
How do you worship Him today?
It is easy to raise an altar, even to carve an image, but of what truth is it made?
The Samaritans according to John 4:20 indeed worshiped on that mountain but an unknown God.

In 2 Chronicles 7:12 the bible says, "And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice".
In Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; Israel was chosen by God as His own people of all tribes and languages upon the earth. Regarding their relationship with God, it was made known to Solomon that Jerusalem was a chosen place for the true worship of the only true God.
Your present form of worship, how did you come about it?
Hence Jesus told the woman of Samaria, " Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews". John 4:22

God never had a relationship with any other nation of the world except the Jewish nation.
In Israel, the true God was revealed and an acceptable form of worship was made known.
Until the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the altar of sin in stead of man, the rest of the world apart form the Israelite were counted alien to the promises of God.
But, John 4:23 says, "But the hour comes and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth".

Today, the hand of fellowship with God is widely thrown opened to as many that believed in His son Jesus Christ. Regardless of who is worshiping Him and where He is being worshiped, Jesus declares, He must be worshiped in spirit and in truth.

There is a need for man to connect with God physically and spiritually.
In obedience to His word by doing only His will in our thought, word and action; God is worshiped physically. While believing in His son Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and the life; God is worshiped spiritually.

Worship could be carried out today in diverse forms and in different altars but there is only one way through which it is acceptable unto God-- through Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God.
John 14:6 says, "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes unto the Father but by me".
