Challenge, predicament, crisis and
limitation of life are defined when one or more areas created to serve a
purpose in one’s life are not producing result.
A man is said to be blind when the
eyes could not perform its function, lame when he could not use his leg to walk and deaf when the ear could not hear.
Famine is experienced in the land when the
heaven refused to give rain and the land as a result could not yield its increase.
When a
marriage is not bringing forth children, then the woman in that marriage is
seen as the one not producing the expected result. Hence, the Lord asked Abraham, where is Sarah thy wife? Genesis 18:9.
The God of Purpose
Nothing
was actually created without a purpose, for God is a purposeful Creator. He
created different organs in the human body to serve different purposes. For
instance, eyes were created that man may see effectively, ears for hearing,
nose for breathing and all organs for their different amazing functions.
He made darkness to rule the night and light
to rule the day. Plants and animals, dry land and sea, the firmament and the
heavenly bodies, all are His craft but with specific purposes.
He
caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and brought out of him a rib through
which Eve was created as a help meet for Adam. As we can see, Eve was created a woman, and at
the same time, a wife to Adam. And one of her many purposes is to be a vessel
through which reproduction process could be finished. And, the same applied to
all women including Sarah.
The Solution Is Within
Your Reach
For every challenge faced today as an
individual, there is always a point of solution already created within our
reach which may not be producing the expected result.
Sarah was made an avenue through
which Abraham would be fulfilled as a father but due to one reason or the
other, Sarah could not meet up in bringing to pass that which was expected of
her.
Sarah was
not Abraham’s headache as was described by many bible scholars; rather she was
just the only point of solution to this particular problem facing Abraham at
this point in time. Abraham tried all he could, but all to no avail. They were
even in their old age, but the One that programmed the process of reproduction
to be a man and a woman affair intervened and the result was marvellous.
Do Not Manipulate God’s
Blessing
Sarah was
the only help meet to produce this required result in the life of Abraham; you
will notice that as a man, even Abraham yielded to the advice of his wife to do
it otherwise. But, the aftermath was traumatic and still evident today.
Genesis 16:1-2, “Now Sarah Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had a handmaid,
an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarah said unto Abram, Behold now, the
LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may
be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarah”.
So also, you could have tried to fix
the problem your own little way, but instead of solution, you experience more
hardship. Why don’t you wait upon the Lord?
It is true that time is not really by
your side but I can assure you that God is by your side as long as you remain
in His will.
There is a purpose for which Jesus

Romans 10:9-13,
“That
if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture says, Whosoever believeth on
him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and
the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
Lord shall be saved.
