The unbelievers are widely regarded
today as non-children of God. But, the truth remains that the devil has no
physical image neither a physical representation except for his spiritual
effect made manifest in a man. No man had ever
seen the devil physically, he is a spirit and there is no way a physical human
being will be regarded as a full-fledged offspring of the devil.
Man is a complete
handiwork of God whether as an unbeliever or a believer.
Malachi 2:10, “Have we not all one father? Hath not one
God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by
profaning the covenant of our fathers?”
God was alone in eternity until He created the heaven and the earth.
At creation, an unbreakable
relationship came alive between divinity and humanity, eventually leading to the creation of the first man Adam on earth.
Of all His
creations, man was made with special priority because of the unique
purpose He had for him as His own image (icon) and representatives on
earth.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own
image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he
them". Genesis 1:26-27
However, there arose a
discord between the duo and this led to a temporary separation that
was experienced when Adam was disowned by God in the Garden of Eden.
As a result, God put a barrier between Himself and man, leaving man only in his natural form as a lump of clay, living but
without God on earth. Although this punishment was levied on
man for his rebellious act, God could not totally forget about
him because the relationship cannot really be fully undone even when one can disown another.
Having committed an offense in an
established relationship, even when one cannot deny the relationship, one may
easily reject and deny another his due benevolence as well
as access to fellowship. What Adam actually suffered was not the broken
relationship he had with God but the inaccessible and terminated fellowship
he suffered thereafter without God on earth.
It is very obvious that both Christians and non-Christians never existed
outside God, we all have our origin in Him. The only difference
is that the unbelievers are disowned and can no longer be called His
children while the believers have realized their sins and have sought
their way back to Him in repentance and forgiveness through His only
begotten son and our Savior Jesus Christ.
The relationship naturally joined us
with the Father. But, fellowship avails us a reliable link and continuous
communion with Him.
As an unbeliever, therefore,
there is a broken link and the worst of it all, a terminated fellowship that actually calls for an urgent reconciliation.
The heart cry of God is that all
His lost children find their way back home.
There is so much trouble on earth and
God is not happy seeing us going through suffering since He has made
every provision for all our needs.
Why would you continue to suffer when you have a Father who is able to meet every need of your life? Like the prodigal son, won't you rather find your way back home today?
You have stayed so long in darkness, failure, sickness, barrenness, poverty, and slavery; why don't you head straight to God? He is your Father and He will never deny you a warm reception only if you can amend your ways and go back to Him with a heart of repentance.
Psalm 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise"
Do not be deceived, you are supernaturally related to God but naturally disconnected when not in fellowship with the divinity.
Jesus is the only way that leads to the Father, give your heart to Him and take advantage of His finished work.
