HOW MANY LOAVES HAVE YE?

In the middle of hopelessness and a state of dilemma, Jesus asked a very intriguing question, "How many loaves have ye?"          It is very unlikely to fathom with the hope that any solution could be offered when found in the situation as recorded in Mark 8:1-10. There was hunger, weakness, despair, hopelessness, scarcity and death in view.  The disciples' response was indeed nothing different from mine or yours except we are schooled and able to comprehend what Jesus did to arrest the situation. To have a smooth sail and end well as a Christian on earth, it is important to understand the know-how and steps required to tackle many issues that bedevil us.  As far as the present world is concerned, problems abound. Ranging from health, finance, marriage, family, business, spiritual, and otherwise, every man is encumbered daily with pockets of troubles.  However, these problems are not designed to mar us, rather, they help in shaping our lives for the greater gl

PRAISE AS A DUTY

When it seems there is no reason to be grateful and thankful to God, why don't you praise Him just as a duty, responsibility and obligation unto Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you"

It is common sense to praise God when it occurs to us that He responsibled for that job just secured, the healing from that deadly disease, that wonderful gift of a baby after several years of waiting and the fact that we are still alive.

It is also noteworthy to praise Him even for what He has not done for us.
But, it is OUTSTANDING when we praise Him because it is our duty, responsibility and obligation regardless of our hopeless situations.

The four and twenty elders in collaboration with the four beasts according to Revelation 4:1-11, dwell permanently at the throne room of heaven praising God day and night not for what He has done for them nor that which He has not done but for His collective work of creation. This they do everyday as a duty, responsibility and obligation dues God.

Dear friend, what is your attitude towards praise?
Do you praise Him only when the going is good?
How then do you praise Him when the going is tough?

It does not matter what you are going through, dare not to be time-selective in praising God.
You are made to show forth His praises. 1 Peter 2:9, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"
Remember, He has created all things, and for His pleasure, they are and were created.

Praise Him in the morning, afternoon and night. Praise Him at home, work, on the street, in sickness, health, even in death.
Praise Him in riches, poverty, in sadness, in joy, whether you have job or not, whether married or not, with children or not, fulfiled or unfulfiled, just . . . . . . . just . . . . . . just praise Him anyway!

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
