Colossians 2:9-10, "For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the
Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all
principality and power"
At creation, Adam was the first man to be
created fully in the image of God. As time goes on God said it is not good that
man should be alone hence, He made an help meet for him. Adam was made to sleep
and while sleeping, God took bone from his rib and from which Eve was made.
Note this, God did not have to breathe again for Eve to come alive, Adam was
already a living being and all God did was to share the life of one Adam between
the two new creatures. And from that day, man became an incomplete being
without a woman. Marriage, therefore, became an integral part of existence
which amount to a great achievement in the life of every man. Genesis 2:24, "Therefore shall a man leave
his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be
one flesh".
Have you ever wondered why fornication and
adultery are the most common sin in the world today, even among Christians? A
better half was lost to the woman, it is, therefore, natural for the body to
find it. From the day woman was created, the truth is that the natural body has
never stopped seeking for its completion and wholesomeness. Trust me, most men
feel more relaxed when with female counterparts, so also the women. Each time
the body finds its better half, there is always an attraction and as a result,
many have erroneously gotten into wrong relationships that have led them into
fornication and adultery.
Are you married but still having an
extramarital affair?
Or, you are single but having several
sexual relationships?
Are you struggling and battling with this
sin in your life?
Or, you think there is no solution to
this?
Colossians 2:9-10 opens our eyes to certain truth about this issue when he
says "For
in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" This makes it clear that, there is a fullness which does
not dwell inside of any man but only in Christ Jesus. But, what makes Jesus
have this fullness, you may ask? The first proof is that the Bible said so and
we have to believe this. But, for further proof into this mystery, Jesus is a
man like each and every one of us, but the account of His birth is quite
different from how it happened to all of us Matthew 1:18-20. Jesus is a direct seed of God from heaven; His conception did not happen
as a result of copulation between male and female counterparts. In fact, He was
conceived of the Holy Spirit. This means that Jesus was only planted inside the
Virgin Mary only to have the physical image of God which is man but with the
completeness of God which is not shared between two individuals. Note this, a
female gene and a male gene do not need to come together in this case, it all
happen as an act carried out by one individual—The Holy Spirit, even the virgin
Mary was not aware of this until the angel Gabriel came to tell her. Jesus is a
man like no other; He does not need any woman to be complete. He is ever
relaxed whether with women or not because the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Physically)
dwells in Him.
How long will you struggle with
fornication?
How long will your body lust for that
which is detrimental to your spiritual and physical well-being?
There is a solution in Christ Jesus; you
can be made whole again. All you need to do is just to claim your space in Him
and thereafter declare that you are complete in Him even as the bible has said.
This problem is bigger than making just an ordinary decision to stay away from
it, you will need a help from above because until you have been made complete
in Him, your body may always seek for this unending completion.
Colossians 2:10 says "And ye are complete in him, which is
the head of all principality and power" When you are in Christ Jesus, you are
complete in Him. The lost portion of your body is permanently restored which in
turn helps you to stay away from fornication and adultery without any further
struggle.
Would you like to live a life free of
fornication and adultery?
Give your life to Christ today; He is the
way, the truth, and the life.
