HOW MANY LOAVES HAVE YE?

In the middle of hopelessness and a state of dilemma, Jesus asked a very intriguing question, "How many loaves have ye?"          It is very unlikely to fathom with the hope that any solution could be offered when found in the situation as recorded in Mark 8:1-10. There was hunger, weakness, despair, hopelessness, scarcity and death in view.  The disciples' response was indeed nothing different from mine or yours except we are schooled and able to comprehend what Jesus did to arrest the situation. To have a smooth sail and end well as a Christian on earth, it is important to understand the know-how and steps required to tackle many issues that bedevil us.  As far as the present world is concerned, problems abound. Ranging from health, finance, marriage, family, business, spiritual, and otherwise, every man is encumbered daily with pockets of troubles.  However, these problems are not designed to mar us, rather, they help in shaping our lives for the greater gl

Overcoming Challenges of Life

As long as there is life, there is at least a challenge. Jesus declares in Matthew 6:34, “…..sufficient unto the day is evil thereof”. This attests to the fact that every day comes with its own special encounter.  There is always a challenge to overcome at every particular point in time. Every man on earth is faced with one challenge or the other whether rich or poor. There is various category of challenges but the truth is that challenges are real proofs that you are alive. Moreover, it takes only the living to overcome challenges. When there is no more challenge to overcome, this is an indication that death has finally come.
Challenges are usually described as obstacles denying a free access to Promised Land. It can be defined as well as a problem confronting one on his way to success. Its effect in our life may be unpalatable, though, but I think challenges are necessary for our upkeep in life. It takes a student to advance in learning only when he has successfully passed the promotion exam that qualifies him to go further. With this view, therefore, challenges are best described as a required step to move forward in life.
The question is would you like to achieve more in life? Then, get ready to face challenges without which stagnation is inevitable.

Challenges can be physical, spiritual, financial, academicals or marital; it is always a cause for anxiety, but it is not designed to destroy us rather it makes us a success in life.
Stop seeing your challenge as a destroyer because it might end up destroying you when you see it that way. There is a need to see it in another perspective because challenges is a tool God uses to correct, rebuke, build and makes you what you ought to be in life. The book of James 1:2, admonishes us “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations”. Don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed by your predicament, God knows about it, he allows it for a purpose and at the right time He will deliver you from that problem.
Try to look at it this way, God is a Healer, but you don’t know this until you are sick. God is a Provider, maybe you are in doubt about this; the truth is that you need to become penniless to confirm that He is. Your marriage is turning hell on earth, may be you need to know that God is the solution to every marriage and until you permit Him to take His place, you may end up in divorce.  Whatever you are passing through is thrown at you that God might be revealed to you in reality and to make you a better person. It is all designed to bring out the best in you.

In conclusion, challenges are the reality of life and we can always overcome them when we trust in God, commit all our challenges unto Him in prayer and rely totally on His saving power. Jesus says in Matthew 6:33-34, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
