ACQUIRING WEALTH BY GODLY PRINCIPLE

I understand the caption above sounds a bit interesting, and if you are like me, you will be curious to know what i mean. God is the Almighty, is there anything too difficult for Him? Absolutely no, nothing can be too difficult for Him. He created the Heaven and the earth, and all power belongs to Him; yet, He is a God of principle.

To the glory of God, the church is tremendously growing in population today on a daily basis. Many people have come, not because they have had an encounter with Jesus, but because they have seen the blessing of God manifesting in the life of certain men of God and they believed if they can come closer to the church as well, they should be able to get this kind of miracle.  This however is not a wrong perception, it is the best thing any man need to do when you have come to a dead end in your life. Jesus Christ says in Matthew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”. When you come to Jesus, it is certain that solutions to life problems would be handed over to you, yet, you need to know that God does not give wealth; He only gives power to get wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”

Without any iota of doubt, one of the benefits of serving God is wealth, He told Abraham after He had called him in Genesis 12:2, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great ; and thou shalt be a blessing”

This is the promise of God only for His people. It is not accessible to all; you must have genuine repentance to benefit from this package. 

You need to stop looking for wealth elsewhere because you may never find it until you have gotten the power. Without power, all effort is in vain. Wealth does not answer to any form of struggle, it answers only to power. To every locked door, there is always a key. Notwithstanding how strong a man can be except he is a thief, there will always be a need for the key each time the door is to be opened. In this wise, power is the key to open the door of wealth and this key is in the hand of God. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except by Him. You cannot get this key only by being a church member; you need to give your life to Jesus in genuine repentance in order to get this key, for it is God that gives the power to make wealth.

Of a truth, many without the key have broken into the locked up room of wealth. They are today known in their own world as celebrity with so much fame and glamour but in the spiritual sense, they are slaves to mammon.  

WHAT IS POWER?

Power is, knowing the right direction to channel your energy (wisdom).

Power is having access to the right information (knowledge)

Power is having the technical know-how of wealth (understanding).

Power is interpreted as capability, authority and control.

It is the ability to generate an outcome, make things happen and produce result effortlessly.

Power is the combination of strength and knowledge meticulously put together to get work done. You can even say it is that which is usually displayed in the World Wrestling (WWF) Championship. But, when God talks about power, He is talking about the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”. You hardly get anything done as a disciple of Jesus without the Holy Spirit. He is required for every day to day activities of the church as well as the followers of Jesus Christ.

Wealth is a covenant between God and His people; hence God is mandatory to make available to them, the promised power in order to access the wealth.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God and He has been commissioned to help, teach, guide and strengthen us throughout our days on earth. John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”

The Holy Spirit is the wisdom behind every creation of God, and if God had created the world with all its wonders in seven days, I think the Holy Spirit is the greatest source of power that ever exists. However, when a man partners with the Holy Spirit, He is furnished with every resource required for his greatness here and beyond.

It takes those with genuine repentance to have the Holy Spirit as their companion. Therefore, do not fake your salvation, the Holy Spirit is real. He is a friend that has been assigned to help you here on earth. He knows what you do not know; in fact, He knows your tomorrow and that is why you need Him to guide you in every step you take in life whether in business, marriage, career, ministry, etc. His divine mission is to safeguard your success in life.

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Have you received the Holy Spirit into your life? If you are truly born again, you have the Holy Spirit in you. He is the one with whom you can access the room to your locked up wealth. He has been assigned to guide you into all truth, teach you all skills that are required, Strengthen you when you are weak, comfort you when you are in pain, Help you as an helper, live and dwell inside of you to give you an undeniable access to supernatural life.

What do you do for a living? Are you a doctor, an engineer, a contractor, a trader, an artisan, an employee or a business owner? You can stand out among your equals and become the number one in your chosen field of endeavour having made the Holy Spirit your exclusive ally.

Even as a student, engage the Holy Spirit in your academics; He is a great Teacher that teaches all sort of subject. It is commonly said among students that some courses of study are more difficult than the other, but I have this to say, with the Holy Spirit, there is no difficult course of study. Just present the course before Him and He will turn it to bread and tea for you.

Engage the Holy Spirit in your prayer today, meditate and listen to Him speaking on your inside, give Him the required attention while studying the word of God and you will never regret you did. He cannot be wrong for whatsoever He hears from the Master, that will He also tell you.

John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”

DO WHATEVER HE SAYS

Just go ahead and do whatever He says, you will surely prosper.

It will interest you to know that all financial breakthroughs in the scripture answered only to obedience of the word of God.

The bridegroom at the Cana of Galilee in John 2:1-10 was about to be put to shame on his wedding day when the wine finished all of a sudden. There was pandemonium as the man does not have money to provide enough wine and there were plenty people yet to be served. People were about making a bad remark concerning this ceremony but thank God, Jesus the Word made flesh was around. The mother came straight to Him for she knew that all He needs to do is to tell them what to do and the problem would be over. However, Jesus told them to fill the pot with water and thereby start serving the people and the mother said whatever he tells you to do, just do it. They did exactly as He told them and the testimony is still valid till date. 

In Luke 5:1-10, Peter was a peasant fisherman. One day, after a whole night struggle without a catch, Jesus came to him and asked to use his boat to preach by the riverside. He submitted his boat to the Master after which He asked him to go for one more round having finished using his boat. This time around, He instructed him to launch into the deep, of which when Peter did; he had a boat sinking net braking catch of fishes which turn around his story till date. Note the instruction given to Peter; perhaps he had been previously paddling around the shallow area, but He gave him His word, and that made the difference in the life of Peter.

The same will also be your experience provided you surrender your boat to Jesus. You must allow Him to direct every step you take in your business.

You do not need to copy anybody’s idea to succeed in life; you only need the Holy Spirit, the idea power house to inspire you.
