Let God Lead You This Year

In actual fact, without much understanding, this could be seen as a tradition or a religion affair when people fast and pray at the beginning of the year like this.
Churches have started gathering once again  to seek the face of God as they do every year and you think this is just a tradition? Truth be told, the year is loaded with a lot of unknowns regularly orchestrated by forces beyond human understanding. Hence, the need to fast and pray.
Jesus declares in Matthew 17:21, "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting"
There are issues ahead which may defile your academic qualifications, your rich financial status, your highly exhorted position and your noble influential status in the society.
Do you know that your adversary--the devil, does not sleep nor slumber, like a roaring lion, he seeks whom he may devour.
Fasting serves as an avenue to participate in the spiritual world, though it looks ordinary but it is an extraordinary tool to take hold of your year 2017.
Remember, you do not reap when you did not sow, do not hesitate to sow the seed of prayer today and wait diligently to see the answer manifesting in your tomorrow.
Proverbs 8:17, "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me".
The year is still very fresh, be counted among those that seek God early in 2017 and you will surely find Him. Commit your year into the hand of the Master; with Him, pleasant surprises of complete restoration await you in the days ahead.
