HOW MANY LOAVES HAVE YE?

In the middle of hopelessness and a state of dilemma, Jesus asked a very intriguing question, "How many loaves have ye?"          It is very unlikely to fathom with the hope that any solution could be offered when found in the situation as recorded in Mark 8:1-10. There was hunger, weakness, despair, hopelessness, scarcity and death in view.  The disciples' response was indeed nothing different from mine or yours except we are schooled and able to comprehend what Jesus did to arrest the situation. To have a smooth sail and end well as a Christian on earth, it is important to understand the know-how and steps required to tackle many issues that bedevil us.  As far as the present world is concerned, problems abound. Ranging from health, finance, marriage, family, business, spiritual, and otherwise, every man is encumbered daily with pockets of troubles.  However, these problems are not designed to mar us, rather, they help in shaping our lives for the greater gl

NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE

God would have been in the same class with men but for His ability to do that which is impossible with men, He remains God! Luke 1:37, "For with God nothing shall be impossible".
If the scripture above has been declared without involving God, it would have amounted to an empty boasting and blasphemy. Man in his Adamic nature is a limited being. This means man is restricted, impotent, handicapped, inadequate, and insufficient in most areas of life. For instance; man is limited in time, Job 14:1 says "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble".
Man is limited in power. In fact, man is ordinary dust without God, Genesis 2:7, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul".
Man is limited in resources, even if his possession is as much as Solomons. Colossians 1:17, "And he is before all things, and by him, all things consist".
Man is limited in wisdom and knowledge. 1 Corinthians 3:18-19, "Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their craftiness".
James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him".
From every indication, man is limited in every way, but God is not. Elizabeth was already in her old age and I'm sure she was already in her menopause. But, God is not a man and can not be limited in any way. He sent His messenger to Zachariah while carrying out his duty as a priest in the temple. He was afraid at the appearance of the angel but the angel asked him to fear not for his prayer has been answered. Zachariah found this message very difficult to believe and began to query the possibility of the fulfillment of the promise. He however became dumb according to the word of the angel for the word of God to be fulfilled in his life. Luke 1:5-25
In order to further prove the ability of God to make possible that which is impossible with man, Zachariah could not believe the word of God, but regardless of his unbelief,  the promise actually came to pass.
Elizabeth was labeled barren as a result of her childlessness. In the same manner, many people are also nicknamed today after their different challenges such as joblessness, sickness, failure, afflictions, etc. Peradventure, you are reading this message now, just as God turned around Elizabeth's situation and did that which was impossible with man, so also He is turning around your situation today in the name of Jesus.

WHAT QUALIFIES US TO ENJOY THE POWER OF GOD TO MAKE POSSIBLE THE IMPOSSIBILITIES IN OUR LIVES?

1. RELATIONSHIP
Among many people that enjoyed the power of God to make possible every impossibility is Abraham and Zachariah. These people are related to Jesus by birth because they are all from the nation of Israel. God had an unbreakable covenant with their forefathers, Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac.
Today, if you can accept Him as your Lord and Saviour, He will give you the right to become the son of God.
John 1:12, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name".

2. FELLOWSHIP
The relationship gives you access to become a member of the family of God, but fellowship takes you straight into the Upper room with God.
Joshua 1:8, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success".
1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing".
Psalms 100:4, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name".

3. COMMITMENT
The union between husband and wife is only maintained by commitment. When this is not in place, marriage will suffer and divorce will become inevitable. The same thing happens in our relationship with God. When you are committed to God, He is equally committed to you. Zachariah was committed to God, so also Abraham. Hence, the power of God to make possible that which was impossible in their lives.
Matthew 22:35-40, "Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38, This is the first and great commandment. 39, And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40, On these two commandments, hang all the law and the prophets".

4. FAITH
The only currency accepted as a means of exchange to receive your blessing from the throne of grace is faith. Luke 8:43-48, is a story of the woman with the issue of blood. She had such a strong faith that if only she could touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she will be made whole. She struggled in the crowd to get this done and was made whole.
But, to prove further that with God, nothing shall be impossible even when you do not possess the required faith to claim your miracle. In Genesis 18:9-14, God fulfilled His word in the life of Abraham even with Sarah's unbelief. In Luke 1:5-25, He did the same in the life of Zachariah even with his unbelief all to prove that with Him nothing shall be impossible.
May you receive such a special grace as was given to Abraham and Zachariah today in the name of Jesus.

5. STEADFASTNESS
In order not to lose out and miss your miracle at the end of the day, your steadfastness with God is an optimum recommendation. Please note, it took Abraham a high level of steadfastness with God for him to receive his miracle, likewise, Zachariah. Certainly, it will require nothing less for you to receive your miracles as well. Be steadfast in God!
1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord".

SUMMARY
God is simply an epitome of possibility.

CONCLUSION
You are limited in every way, but God is unlimited. You need God to help you in all you do to have a successful life on earth. Therefore, surrender your life to Jesus today.
