HOW MANY LOAVES HAVE YE?

In the middle of hopelessness and a state of dilemma, Jesus asked a very intriguing question, "How many loaves have ye?"          It is very unlikely to fathom with the hope that any solution could be offered when found in the situation as recorded in Mark 8:1-10. There was hunger, weakness, despair, hopelessness, scarcity and death in view.  The disciples' response was indeed nothing different from mine or yours except we are schooled and able to comprehend what Jesus did to arrest the situation. To have a smooth sail and end well as a Christian on earth, it is important to understand the know-how and steps required to tackle many issues that bedevil us.  As far as the present world is concerned, problems abound. Ranging from health, finance, marriage, family, business, spiritual, and otherwise, every man is encumbered daily with pockets of troubles.  However, these problems are not designed to mar us, rather, they help in shaping our lives for the greater gl

PITCH YOUR TENT WITH JESUS

PITCH YOUR TENT WITH JESUS

Psalm 91:1, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty". There is a secret place of the Highest, it is secret because it is not known to many people, except those to whom it has been revealed. It is a place of refuge in time of trouble, it is a place of rest and a place where all needs are met. But where is this secret place located? Proverbs 18:10, "The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe". And, I am bold enough to tell you that the name the bible is talking about is JESUS. Therefore, it is important you PITCH YOUR TENT WITH JESUS!

From my little experience as a Christian, I can boldly tell you that life without Jesus, is a life without cover. The term cover is a language popularly used in an insurance scheme.
When you have insurance coverage on any of your properties, this means if anything happened to such property accidentally, it shall be recovered back to you. This makes it look as if you have never lost the property in the first place. Now, when a man is no longer under the cover of the almighty God, such a man is exposed to the attack of the enemy.

For instance, in the book of Job 1:6-12, after a dialogue between God and Satan, the edges built round about Job was withdrawn and Job was left without cover from God. The moment this was allowed, Job lost everything he has ever acquired in a twinkling of an eye. He lost all his children, his herds and all his properties. It was indeed a terrible experience for Job. May you never be exposed to satanic attack in Jesus name.

Genesis 3:1-8, Adam was under the cover of God while in the garden of Eden, he was enjoying a divine coverage and the best of relationship with God until the Serpent came to deceive him and made him go against the will of God. Adam missed the track and lost the coverage he had been enjoying from God. He was finally pushed out of the garden, he was exposed to the attack of the enemy and the aftermath of it all is so evident in our present days. This is the more reason why we need to pitch our tent with Jesus because the only means of safety in this present world is in Christ Jesus. A life without Him will experience a lot of turbulent time. Such shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
Ecclesiastes 10:8, "He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh a hedge, a serpent shall bite him". Hear me, brethren, except you pitch your tent with Jesus, the devil is always on the lookout to attack his victims. May you never be a victim of devils attack in the name of Jesus.

Genesis 14:11-12, "And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way. And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed". Understand this, as long as Lot was with Abram, he could not be captured by any form of external forces. However, as soon as he left Abraham, he became prey in the hand of the enemy because the cover over his life was withdrawn.
Lot separated from Abraham and went for the seemingly best portion of the land. But, hidden to the choice of the flesh and unknown to Lot were many problems there about. Genesis 13:10, "And Lot lifted his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. 11,  Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other".
The land was green indeed, but it was a war zone where there was no peace at all. Finally, Lot was captured and taken away as a slave. Thank God he had a chosen of God as an uncle. Abraham heard of his captivity and could not hold his peace. He set out in battle and pursued after Lot's captors, finally, he overcame and brought back to the king of Sodom, his people that were held captive together with Lot his nephew.

WHEN YOU PITCH YOUR TENT WITH JESUS
  1. You are sure of divine cover and edge over your life. This means unperturbed protection against any attack of the enemy.
    • In Genesis 14, there was war everywhere all-around Abraham, but it never got to him because he was under the coverage of God.
    • In Genesis 12:10-20, Even when Abraham entered Egypt and would be punished or killed for telling a lie that Sarah was his sister, God never allowed Pharaoh to touch him. Rather, he left Egypt with great possession.
